My first house in Second Life, 2004

I got this 512 square meter parcel in the Benten sim in 2004 under Second Life’s “Land for the Landless” program, a long-ago terminated program that gave land to new residents.  Creating a forest on this barren parcel was a thrill for this new resident, but the most thrilling discovery of all was that I could terraform the land, dig a hole, and make it into a pond with water I created from a prim.  Creating the two ponds in this picture were exciting accomplishments.   (June 2004)
